Portreath Studio was originally founded in Main Road (now Penberthy Road, Portreath) by C.W. Palmer in 1950.
Colin Higgs, the principal photographer, started his career nearly 40 years ago when he was apprenticed to the celebrated London society and wedding photographer Tom Hustler. In the intervening years Colin has worked mainly for the local and national press covering all of Cornwall.
We continue to offer a no nonsense photographic service based on solid experience and good value where the client's wishes come first. Our wedding coverage is unobtrusive and at the same time creative, our portraiture is warm and friendly and our editorial and public relations photography efficient and tailored to the client's needs.
